Rehabilitation, using non-dig techniques, of the most severe defects within the Main Drainage System of the Lower Liffey Valley Regional Sewerage Scheme. Scope of works included:

Cleaning of 19km of sewers and 112 manholes to remove silt and debris from the specified sewers, to increase the hydraulic capacity and to provide a clean sewer and manhole surface for localised repairs.

Removal of Obstructions
Complete removal of obstructions including intruding connections, which hinder the flow of the wastewater in the sewer network.

Localised Repairs - 398 nr
Repair of isolated or infrequent defects within both sewers and manholes using a system of localised repair which does not severely restrict flow capacity.

Complete Relining
Complete relining of 112 manholes and 4851m of sewers to return them to proper operating order with minimal change in original hydraulic capacity

CCTV Survey and Report - 19km
Provision of a visual inspection of the sewers both prior to and after rehabilitation works.

Manhole Survey and Reporting
Provision of an updated SUU25 database for rehabilitated manholes.
