CAD & BIM Technician

Process Design Engineer

are looking to recruit Process Design Engineers to work on projects located in
Ireland and UK.

Main Responsibilities

  • Production of detailed process and mechanical design submissions across both the water and wastewater sectors
  • Working with design teams in the production of design and construction drawings/ documentation
  • Liaising between Mechanical & Electrical Designers and Civil & Structural Designers
  • Key responsibilities will include developing process and Hydraulic calculations, process flow diagrams (PFD), mass / energy balance, piping and instrumentation diagrams (P& ID), Motor and Equipment list (M&I), Layout and mechanical design, Hydraulic profile, process descriptions and equipment specifications
  • Completion of quality checks to ensure works are in line with design outputs and ready for commissioning works.
  • Travel to project sites to provide expertise during start-up, commissioning and/or for troubleshooting at existing plants

Due to increasing workload on existing multiyear frameworks in Ireland, Northern
Ireland and the UK, Glan Agua require an experienced programmer/planner to work
with an enthusiastic, skilled and motivated team from our Galway office.

Main Responsibilities

  • Creating, maintaining and reviewing a programme of work
  • Liaising with design team, engineers and clients
  • Producing progress reports and forecasts for team members, clients and stakeholders
  • Breaking large jobs down into phases of development

Experience/Qualifications Needed

The right candidate will be able to demonstrate the following key experience necessary

  • At least five years in a Project Manager role in the UK Water Industry, preferably
    with a Tier 1 contractor
  • A mechanical or electrical based academic qualification, preferably degree level
  • CSCS Card and EUSR Water Hygiene card

Main Responsibilities

Preparation of Tender and Pre-qualification documents to secure future work

Carrying out detailed take off of materials and equipment

Compiling RFQs (Request for Quotation) and ensuring a detailed response from suppliers

Developing detailed designs
