Glan Agua have commenced works on the upgrade of Mallow Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP). The project involves upgrading of the existing Mallow WWTP, upgrading of the foul and storm pumping at Mallow Bridge and the provision of stormwater storage at the new Mallow Bridge Pumping Station.
Our Contracts Director, John Fox, was on-site last week, and as per pictures, works are progressing at the Mallow Bridge site following mobilisation in May.
The upgrade works carried out as part of this project will:
- Modernise and improve the performance of the wastewater treatment infrastructure.
- Increase the treatment capacity and resolve overloading of the plant.
- Allow for the long-term social and economic development of Mallow.
Glan Agua look forward to working with Irish Water and Cork County Council on the delivery of this project, and updates will be provided on our website and social media platforms as works progress on-site.
